Dr. Kris Novinger is from a small community just outside of Pittsburg, PA. She has moved steadily southward since then, graduating from West Virginia University in 1993, then moving on to the University of Tennessee. She graduated from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Her professional interests are oncology, feline medicine, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. In her free time, she fits in as much pottery and jewelry making, exercising, and gourmet cooking as she can. She is an avid fan of all Pittsburg sports teams, as well as her beloved college teams, WVU and UT. She has been married to Dr. Stewart Novinger since May 1997.

Dr. Hinson was born at the University of Tennessee Hospital in 1971. As an Army brat he lived in Germany, Massachusetts and throughout the Southeast until returning to Knoxville for undergraduate studies and eventual graduation from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. His professional interests are orthopedics and exotic animals. When not practicing medicine, he enjoys fishing with his 5 year old son, Woods, and gardening and raising chickens on his 29 acres in Morgan County with his wife of 11 years, Jennifer.
