Dr. Kris Novinger

Dr. Kris Novinger is from a small community just outside of Pittsburg, PA. She has moved steadily southward since then, graduating from West Virginia University in 1993, then moving on to the University of Tennessee. She graduated from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Her professional interests are oncology, feline medicine, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. In her free time, she fits in as much pottery and jewelry making, exercising, and gourmet cooking as she can. She is an avid fan of all Pittsburg sports teams, as well as her beloved college teams, WVU and UT. She has been married to Dr. Stewart Novinger since May 1997.

Dr. Rick Hinson

Dr. Hinson was born at the University of Tennessee Hospital in 1971. As an Army brat he lived in Germany, Massachusetts and throughout the Southeast until returning to Knoxville for undergraduate studies and eventual graduation from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. His professional interests are orthopedics and exotic animals. When not practicing medicine, he enjoys fishing with his 5 year old son, Woods, and gardening and raising chickens on his 29 acres in Morgan County with his wife of 11 years, Jennifer. Go Big Orange!

Dr. Sam Compton

I graduated from the University of Tennessee's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, and am happy to be a part of the ORVH family! It's wonderful to get to know our pets and their families, while helping them live a happy, healthy life. When I'm not here, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and 2 very spoiled cats.

Dr. Mike Fanikos

Hi, Michale Fanikos veterinarian at ORVH. I like educating people about their pets health needs & when they get sick trying to find the underlying cause.

In my free time I like spending time with my family, reading, going to the YMCA & taking care of my cherry trees, blueberry and blackberry bushes. We have 2 dogs & one cat.

Dr. Chelsea Atchley

My name is Dr. Chelsie Atchley. Asan associate veterinarian, I enjoy improving the lives of my pet patients as well as preserving the human-animal bond for my clients.

In 2013, I earned a bachelor of science degree in biology health sciences from Tennessee Technological University. In 2018, I earned a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Lincoln Memorial University- College of Veterinary Medicine.

As a Knoxville native, my free time is spent enjoying family, including my beagle mix and two cats.

Bethany Wright

Bethany joined the team in 2014. She is originally from Maryville. Bethany has three daughters, four cats, one dog and one snake. When she is not working she enjoys hanging out and relaxing with her family and watching Netflix.

Donna Long

I am Donna, a veterinary assistant at ORVH. I enjoy learning about new treatments and training methods to help clients with their pets. I currently compete in dog sports of nose work, dock diving, fast cat, and PSA with my Belgian Malinois Sabre. I also own 4 German Shepherds and 2 cats. My hobbies include hiking, paddle boarding, fishing and dog training/sports.

Isaac Thomas

My name is Isaac Thomas, I am the Head Technician. I have been married to my wife, Whitney, for 10 years. We have 5 animals. 3 Cats, Mojito, Remy and Tana, and 2 Great Pyrenees, Hazel & Hendrick. I've currently been in vet med for over 13 years & enjoy being able to make a difference in lives of the animals we treat, whether it be a routine or emergency as well as relationship built with our clients. What I like about ORVH is bing independently owned, allowing for a family like atmosphere between the staff. My hobbies/interest/things I like to do outside work is spending time with family, going to the gym, football, basketball, craft beers & visiting new breweries.

Lisa Greene

Hi my name is Lisa Greene, I have been a receptionist for the past 3 years. I enjoy helping the animals & clients. I have several animals and enjoy raising the orphan babies we get in.

Lyn Campbell

Lyn is the latest addition to the ORVH family. She is Co-Office Manager with Carolyn Starks. Lyn is a recent transplant from New Jersey, who has fallen in love with the landscape and people of Tennessee. She moved here with her better half, Ed, and their grouchy older cat, Toby. They share five grown children, who have left the nest making room for the anticipated adoption of at least one more kitty for Lyn and a puppy for Ed. The addition of pets will make their new home complete.

Sierra Pack

Hello, I'm Sierra. I am a veterinary assistant at ORVH. I've worked here since 2018, I have worked in kennels, helped in reception, and I am currently an assistant. I enjoy helping around the hospital wherever is needed, and I also enjoy being a comfort to you and your pets in your times of need. I have been AKC CPR certified. And Dr. Kris said "Good job" which is even better. I have 3 cats and a dog who are my bestfriends. In my free time you can find me reading, travelling, and arguing with my corgi, Kyo.

Sarah Doak

My name is Sarah Doak, and I have been a receptionist at ORVH for the past five years. I really enjoy the rapport between all the staff members. I live in Knoxville with my cats and dog. I enjoy studying about cults and serial killers, Especially Jonestown and the Donner Party. And the Bean clan from Scotland. Surprisingly, my favorite musical is Sweeny Todd.

Interesting fact: Angela Lansbury moved to Ireland to keep her daughter away from a young man she disapproved of named Charles Manson

My name is Jessica Pack, more commonly known as Jess, and I'm a veterinary assistant. I've ben in vet med for about 3 years, after spending 2 years in community college. I love the veterinary field, specifically phlebotomy and I love taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes. Hi, I am Dalton I'm the Lead Kennel Tech, it is my job to keep all the boarding animals and patient clean, fed, walked and watered. I enjoy helping others in every way I can. I have over 5 years experience working with animals and also took animal behavior classes. I am a husband and father to my wife Kimberly and my son Sylas. I have 2 cats of my own Lily and Ebony.

Beth Milito

My name is Elizabeth Milito and I am a vet assistant. I enjoy helping clients learn new ways to care for their pets. I graduated from Mountain Empire Community College, but I grew up on a dairy farm in VA, caring for horses, cows and other animals I enjoy salsa dancing and musical theatre. I also enjoy reading books and singing when I can. I live here in Oak Ridge with my husband Mason, our two cats and my gecko.

Allie Weatherford

My name is Allie, I'm an office manager (in training) and receptionist. I enjoy seeing and working with our patients while also teaching their owners the importance of vet med. I have worked in vet med since 2007 in various positions and establishments. I currently reside in Oak Ridge with my fiancé, 2 sons and the bestest boy Porter (our dog).
